TAO LOAN I This is an un-official account of the last Vietnamese rebellion against Chinese rule (1407-1427) under the Minh Dynasty. This support which many years later was the caused for one of the most infamous secrete trial resulted in the execution of Nguyen Trai and three generations of his family and relatives. Readers who have read Tao Loan I should read the romantic story of Princess Mai Lan. Vietnamese history is full of repetitive of similar events. Just like in the time of Le Loi, today, many Vietnamese long for another rebellion to liberate their homeland from the current tyranny.
