I am a poetry lover from a very young age. I love to read and recite variety
of poetries. Life is meaningless to me without art and poetry. This is my
first book of poems. My poems are a true reflection of my philosophy.
These poems are written to express my feelings and concerns about this
world. I believe we are one family on this planet. We may have different
ways of life, but our goal is to nourish and nurture the souls by giving
our best to one another. I hope you enjoy these poems. There is a joy in
sharing. I could not be a poet today without the support of my younger
daughter Munia who enrolled me to a poetry class at the Berkley
Extension Course. I also want to thank my older daughter Tanya and
my sun-in-law Sujit for their support and encouragement. I would like
to thank my beloved husband Ashish Bhaumik for helping me to prepare
this manuscript and for his constant support.
