Over the last century, the global community has made significant strides in developing standards on how diverse countries and cultures can work together. Since then, globalism has been on the rise leading to people from diverse backgrounds populating all parts of the globe - even monoethnic communities.This raises the question: What standards currently exist to help nations integrate diversity in their culture, respecting the view of the migrants while retaining local traditions and practices. This is the very heart of the need that this Declaration of Diversity addresses. It is a living proposal that branches from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to help establish the guidelines and boundaries to help unify diversity, giving credence to new ways of thought while protecting the beliefs and traditions of the existing citizens of any nation.
