Phil gives personalized spiritual comfort to those spending their last days in a hospice environment. His greatest joy is being asked to be the guest speaker at various schools that his grandchildren attend. There he becomes "Grandpa Phil," the story-teller. The Stacks have six children and nineteen grandchildren. Phil has a previous book titled, I Am a Good Person.
